The Hartness family has been gathering and collecting this spectacular 449-acre parcel over the past forty years, and as they acquired new pieces, they created trails throughout the land to satisfy their love for walking and biking. These trails now form the heart of Hartness’ incredible 15-mile trail network that are enjoyed by residents on a daily basis. The trails meander through the woods, around beautiful ponds and over creeks and streams.

The Prisma Health Swamp Rabbit Trail Network is a 28-mile multi-use (walking and bicycling) greenway that traverses along the Reedy River, an old railroad corridor and City parks to connect Travelers Rest with the City of Greenville, South Carolina.

A quaint and relaxing zoo in the heart of downtown Greenville. Allocate 1-2 hours. Great for people of all ages. Adjacent is a large playground for kids and families to have a picnic. Adjacent to the Swamp Rabbit Trail.

Greenville BCycle is an all-electric bike share system located in Greenville, SC. Riders can rent and return the shared bikes from BCycle stations across the downtown. Every bike has an attached battery that provides power with each pedal stroke, making it easier for any rider to get further faster.

TCMU is one of the largest children’s museums in the world and was the first children’s museum to be recognized as a Smithsonian Affiliate.

TCMU-Greenville houses more than 80,000 square feet dedicated to excellence in play-based learning for children ages 0-12, including 30 unique exhibits reflecting the areas of arts, science, health, transportation, the environment and more.

Watch aircraft take off and land while enjoying this free park with an educational amphitheater, exercise “Perimeter Taxiway”, walking “Runways”, aviation themed playground, a swing set, a Bi-plane “Climber”, a picnic hangar and a Cessna 310 display. A 15-foot cross section of a Boeing 737 fuselage will be a handicapped accessible park entrance.
