Welcome to our site! The X Chapter of the BMW Car Club of America is the newest chapter, and we’re open for business! We are a non-geographic chapter which means we cater to all locations within the United States & Puerto Rico!
Our goal is to engage enthusiasts of X branded and X drive equipped BMW vehicles, and bring together a centralized resource for camaraderie and information to enlighten everyone! It doesn’t matter if this is your first X brand BMW vehicle, or your 15th. It doesn’t matter if you bought a brand new XB7 Alpina or the 5th owner owned 1999 E53 X5 with 200,000 miles. What we have in common is wanting to experience the joy of the ultimate driving machine, sharing our stories and tech knowledge, meeting up with each other at rallies and events, and feeling proud to be a part of something big.
If you are as enthusiastic about driving and all things related to your X vehicle as we are about ours, then this is your chapter. We look forward to seeing you at an event soon.

Valerie Caprigno
President
Valerie has been a lifelong BMW enthusiast and member of the CCA since 2017 when she acquired her first BMW, a 2017 X3 M Sport. She replaced her X3 with a 2021 X2 M35i in 2020 and is passionate about driving it anywhere and everywhere. You’ll find her attending events not just near her home in the northeast but all over the CCA network. Valerie has served on the Boston and X Chapters’ boards since 2019. She also serves as the co-chair of the NxtGen Committee, working in partnership with the National Board, focused on attracting the next generation of CCA membership.
Forrest Bennett
Vice President
Forrest joined BMWCCA in 2019 after purchasing his first BMW, a 2002 Steel Blue 325Cic. That BMW passion grew into 3 “X” vehicles, multiple convertibles and a couple tourings. He looks forward to meeting you at your next local, regional and/or national CCA event.
Tom Losito
Secretary
Tom is an avid X vehicle and wine enthusiast. He has developed a reputation for himself as a concours expert having won multiple awards at the Great Marques Concours d’Elegance at Old Westbury Gardens held by the New York Chapter, MBCANY and Metro NY PCA. In addition to the X Chapter, Tom is also an active member with the New York and Everglades Chapters.
Afshawn Towfighi
Treasurer
Afshawn is a dedicated BMW enthusiast having owned nearly 50 BMWs of all years and models. He has been a BMWCCA member for almost 20 years. Afshawn is most passionate about his family (who he has also converted to BMW fans and CCA members) and German culture. Afshawn is also an active member of the Everglades and M Chapter, as well as Vice President of the National Capital Chapter.
