The first X5 rolled off BMW’s assembly line in 1999 and thus launched the X brand. 2024 is the 25th anniversary of this milestone and the X Chapter is celebrating in a BIG way.

X Drives America
To kick-off the celebration, we will be engaging the entire BMW CCA network with a planned relay. We are asking members to work together along 4 planned routes to celebrate the birth of BMW’s X milestone.
The goal is to have members meeting up along the way, have some fun, snap some photos, and get our OFFICIAL X-CHAPTER MASCOT (XCHAP) to it’s destination at Plant Spartanburg in time for our national celebration in November 2024.
Participants don’t have to drive across the entire USA to have fun! Instead, you can drive a short distance, participate in a local event, and MAKE HISTORY!

X5 25th Anniversary Weekend in Greer, SC
November 7-9, 2024
X Drives America will converge on the X manufacturing home of Greer, SC to kickoff a weekend long celebration of all things X, with a specific focus on the X5. Details are still being finalized, so check back often for more information. As of now, here’s what the weekend looks like:

- X Chapter Xclusive Driving School @ BMW Performance Center East (click the register – spots are limited)
Saturday, November 9
- Cars & Coffee at Plant Spartanburg (in partnership with Sandlapper Chappter) fa
